This is the first sculpture I have listed in 2010. I did this one for Barvo back in April or May. I was doing some sculptures for him at his studio in Dallas up until July. This is the only one that I took photos of. All I had was a black and white photo of the girls when they were around 5 and 3 years old. I also did busts of the two girls who are now 15 and thirteen I believe. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures taken of the busts before they were delivered to the client.I had hoped that Barvo would be getting commissions for more sculptures at this time of the year, but evidently the economy has taken it's toll on the sculpture business. I do happen to have a couple of commissions for portrait paintings to do for Christmas which will help out our finances a little. I am looking into some ways to promote the portrait painting end of my business. It may be a while before sculptures will sell again, so I need to increase the sales of paintings. We will see what tommorrow brings!
